And while I could wax poetic about his compost for awhile - so many worms (!!), so much loam and tilth (!!)- perhaps best to just share his no nosense description….

“Compost is NOT certified organic. It is made with hay and manure from local farms and sale barns mixed with used smoke sawdust from a local food processor. It contains a good balance of both bacterial and fungal foods.Addition of 2 inches of compost tilled in to a depth of 6 inches will cure ‘Whatever’ ails your soil. A ready to use growing medium of 1/3 compost mixed with 2/3 topsoil is available at the same pricing. Producer has over 40 years of compost production experience”
