We've raised 85 Bronze Breasted Turkeys on tall grass prairie in our southern pastures. They have been fed a non-gmo feed ration free-choice and enjoyed pecking at everything, hunting bugs, grazing (truly!), eating microgreens, drinking goat milk, following our guard dog around, playing with Mary and gobbling. They have been rotated to fresh grass frequently for many reasons - most paramount is for diversity of their diet (IE flavor!). Additionally, the labor of frequent rotation is better for manure and fertility management and the wellness of our pastures. We believe strongly in healthy, tasty birds raised in a sustainable way and hope one can find its way to your holiday table!
